Pursue

To "pursue"  means "to follow".  In PURSUE, the 6th - 8th grade youth group, we deliberately focus on the lost Biblical art of "following".  Our vision and purpose stems from 2 Timothy 2:22 - "Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."  As we pursue Christ, His teachings, and His heart, we draw on others ways of following - such as with authority and direction.

PURSUE meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30p.m. to 8:15 p.m.  We spend the evening together each week in worship, large and small discussion groups, prayer, a Biblical lesson, and occasional games centered around being "followers of Christ."  We also join ReAlity (the high school youth group) once a month for "Fun Night", which includes service projects, fundraisers and games.

 ReAlity

The next step in one's faith is to face the reality of the world, and nowhere is this more evident than during the High School years. ReAlity is a place where the 'Brotherhood of the Believers' gathers to grow strong and solid on the foundation of the risen Jesus. We challenge one another every Wednesday to connect with God through worship, teachings, and interaction with others.

Our goal is to Testify! To be ready when someone asks the question: "Who is Jesus to you"?

Come with us and learn who Jesus is to YOU!

Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.

- Ezekiel 16:60
